Mr. Pravash Mishra, originally from India, holds diverse academic credentials, including a Master’s Degree in Language & Communication, a Law Degree, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Psychiatric Social Work.
Following his education, Mr. Mishra engaged in legal practice and social work, collaborating with prominent Indian and International NGOs such as Save The Children Fund, OXFAM, UNICEF, National Institute of Mental Health & Mental Sciences (NIMHANS), and Missionaries of Charity.
Transitioning into a career in Foreign Service, Mr. Mishra served for over 33 years, living and working across a spectrum of countries, including Vietnam, Hong Kong, the U.S., Maldives, and Peru, during pivotal periods in history. He undertook short-term diplomatic assignments as part of delegations, overseeing coordination and media management during official visits of the Indian President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister to more than 25 countries.
Throughout his extensive diplomatic career, Mr. Mishra acquired vast experience in press & media management during visits by over a hundred Heads of State/Governments to India, specializing in conflict resolution, treaty relations, e-governance & I.T. management, communication, human resource management, and handling cultural, consular, & community affairs in Foreign Offices and Missions abroad.
His tenure provided significant exposure to community welfare issues in diverse countries. Aside from his diplomatic roles, Mr. Mishra is an accomplished singer, performing artist, and is proficient in multiple languages.
Following his retirement from the Diplomatic Service, Mr. Mishra has joined forces with Better Morning, reigniting his original passion for working with an organization committed to serving communities.
