Better Morning is excited to share with you all that beginning the week of March 17, 2025, our Adult Day Rehabilitation Program (ADRP) is set to come online. The program’s team has successfully collaborated to create an extensive curriculum tailored to individual rehabilitation goals as well as improvement in consumer functioning.
The program is 12 weeks in length and consists of a group session three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday). The timing of the program is subject to change due to interest level; however, the tentative timeframe for the program is between 10am-1pm. Also, this is a closed group, so all participants will need to be referred to and actively engaged in the group during the week of March 17th.
The program is designed to address a new and specific topic each day and every week. The group will be facilitated by our wonderful Group Facilitator using multimedia – worksheets, videos, interactive discussions, role plays, etc. – in hopes that all consumers will benefit from these interventions and subsequent conversations.
A program overview of the topics is below:
- Understanding and processing emotions, thoughts, and actions
- Processing trauma
- Developing and building a resume
- Money management
- Substance use & family
- Interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, boundaries, etc.)
- Self-care & mindfulness
- And many others…
If you are interested in participating in this program, please do not hesitate to send an email and to the Program Manager, Josh Perry, joshua.perry@bettermorninginc.com and the On-site Program Coordinator, Kirsten Bangs, kirsten.bangs@bettermorninginc.com, who will be tracking referrals.
