ICC is a service provided by Better Morning dedicated to assisting youth and families with the highest levels of mental health needs, so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their dreams. There is no additional cost for ICC/Wraparound services. ICC/Wraparound is not a treatment provider, a crisis response service, or a funding stream/source, but rather a modality of quality, evidence-based care. The overall goal of ICC is to ensure that families realize their hopes and dreams, and experience success in their homes, communities, and schools. This intensive and creative team approach makes ICC service delivery unique. |

Better Morning is offering its upcoming summer program dedicated to serving DC’s youth between the ages of 12-17. The program entitled Shine & Thrive: A Youth Summer Wellness Series, focuses on the facilitation of an overall wellness approach to mental health as well as simultaneously validating the experiences youth are currently facing during this important time in their lives. Because the program focuses on the overall wellness approach, Better Morning facilitators will focus on the youth’s physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, educational, social, and future oriented/financial wellness through a variety of modules that include individual and group-based activities and skill building. The program is a week-long experience where youth will attend each day (Monday-Friday) to learn about different wellness modules covering Identity Formation, Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication, Creating a Future Vision, Diet & Food Choices. |
